About AMLC & TBUG

The Arizona MicroStation Local Community (AMLC) and the Tucson Bentleys Users Group (TBUG) are non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting civil engineers and professionals in the design and drafting software industry. Founded in 1989 and 2008 respectively, both groups are based in Arizona and aim to provide a collaborative platform for civil engineers to exchange ideas, share best practices, and stay informed about the latest advancements in Bentley’s design and drafting applications.

Our primary focus is on organizing conferences, workshops, and information sessions tailored to the needs of civil engineers. These events offer comprehensive training and education on MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, and other related engineering software, facilitated by Bentley-certified instructors with extensive industry experience.

As a community-driven organization, we are committed to supporting civil engineers in their professional development and fostering industry collaboration. Our members, dedicated professionals who recognize the importance of staying abreast of the latest technology trends and best practices, benefit from our offerings.

For the past 35 years, AMLC and TBUG have provided free bi-monthly user training sessions, both in-person and online. Additionally, we organize an annual event that allows professionals to gather, expand their knowledge, and interact with the community. These gatherings provide opportunities to discuss real-world project challenges with Bentley experts and receive advice from peers on managing various project issues.
